The short answer is not yet.
I love TedEd videos, they break things down and explain them in a very simple way and give you tons of ideas and concepts to look further into.
This video explains that the Sun produces 10,000x our current needs for energy. That means yes, we our global energy use can be met using renewable energy from the Sun alone.
Also explained are the challenges that need to be overcome in order to allow for our needs to be met by all renewable resources and some solutions that will bring us there.
I discuss the solution to many of these, like:

- Nuclear Energy
- Wind Energy
- Hydroelectric
- Efficiency

I think these brief, digestible videos are valuable to gaining a deeper understanding to seemingly difficult topics. TED is a great resource to learning and exploring many things.
